The viva Young Members (vivaRCH) have been FUNdraising for The Royal
Children’s Hospital as an auxiliary since 2002. It is a young charitable
organisation that promotes the notion of effective FUNdraising and
community contribution in the context of fun, glamorous and lively
social activity.
In founding vivaRCH, the founder’s primary objective was to contribute
to the development of pain management programs that actively help
children and adolescents living with chronic pain as she does. This has
extended to the development of procedural and acute pain management
programs. The Royal Children’s Hospital now has a dedicated Pain
Management team and is running programs for doctors, nurses, patients
and their family and friends.
Thanks to the vivaRCH team members all being volunteers, and a range of
sponsors who continue to support the group, the vivaRCH is able to
donate 100% of all profits from each event directly to The Royal
Children's Hospital.
